Prayer & Meditation Room
Our interfaith prayer and meditation space celebrates the unique manifestations of Abrahamic religions, including the prayer, contemplation, and meditation practices of Islam, Christianity, Judaism and other spiritual traditions. It is open to all HUB925 members for personal worship and meditation regardless of tradition, and we encourage visitors to cultivate spiritual healing and deep repose. To aid in these pursuits, the room offers prayer mats, misbahas, rosaries, yoga mats, meditation cushions, and a variety of sacred texts.
We have created this peaceful environment inspired by Middle Eastern architecture to encourage reflection on the presence of blessings and light in our lives, thus deepening insight and self-knowledge. It is dedicated to sustaining the soul, and inspired by the following Qur'anic Verse:
"God is the Light of the heavens and the Earth. The parable of His light is as if there were a niche and within it a lamp: the lamp enclosed in glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! God guides whom He will to His light: God sets forth parables for men: and God knows all things” (24:36).
